Kia ora Waihirere! Wow what amazing learning you've been doing around science fair lately! I love the way you learned about sinking and floating through actually experimenting with different materials to make your waka. Something else I love about this is that you have been immersed in waka learning... in your reading, your artwork and your science as well. It was so fun making waka with you during our Cybersmart time last week too! I love the way you have added photos and even a video! What kinds of things did you learn when you went on the waka in the harbour here in Tairāwhiti? Next maybe you could tell us about that!
Hi, PCS Room 1 again. This looks amazing! We did some float testing to and looked at how we could make things balance in a boat we made. Our class brought in different materials so we could make boats to float in our school pool. Some of our boats sank and some fell apart. Did you make a waka? We would love to hear more about the waka's and your experience because we haven't experienced anything like that before.
Thank you for your positive, thoughtful, helpful comments. Positive - something done well Thoughtful - a sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what they had to say Helpful - give some ideas for next time or ask a question you want to know more about
