WALHT: Write a procedural text.
We include:
- Materials
- Ingredients
- Method
Our method has:
- Step by step instructions
- Begins with the TIME words - First, next, after, finally, last
- Use verbs to describe WHAT to do eg. Stir, mix, spread
- DO NOT include the pronouns I or WE. You are telling the audience how to do something so use the words YOU eg. You stir the mixture.
Have a look at some of our writing.

Kia Ora Waihirere class,
ReplyDeleteWe liked your procedural writing because it taught us how we can make popcorn. It looked like it was fun that you got to make popcorn.
Did you get to eat the popcorn?
